The King's Oak is the bolder, larger expression of The Oak family. A 42mm stainless steel case with a vibrant dial, luminous hands that glow through the night, automatic date and sapphire crystal. Built for daily life. Built to be noticed doing it.
◈ The Oak Collection
Larger. Bolder. Every day without exception.
-
◆42mm bold case — one millimetre larger than The Oak, with a broader bracelet and more presence on the wrist. The King's Oak is the version for the man who wants his watch to make a statement before he does.
-
◆Vibrant dial with luminous hands — a bold, high-contrast dial with fully luminous hands and indices that glow clearly in low light and complete darkness. The King's Oak is as readable at midnight as it is at midday.
-
◆Automatic date display — the date updates automatically at midnight, every day. A practical detail that earns its place on the dial every single morning without requiring adjustment.
-
◆Sapphire crystal glass — scratch-resistant and optically pure. The same material used in watches at five times the price, chosen here to protect the dial with the standard it deserves.
-
◆316L stainless steel case and bracelet — solid, corrosion-resistant and built to maintain its appearance over years of daily wear. The 24mm bracelet width gives the King's Oak a substantial, commanding presence on the wrist.
-
◆Hidden button clasp — a concealed deployment clasp that keeps the bracelet seamless and clean from every angle. Secure, practical and invisible when worn.
-
◆High precision quartz movement — absolute accuracy and zero maintenance beyond a battery replacement every 1 to 3 years. Reliable in every condition, every day.

◈ Common questions
Everything you need to know.
What is the difference between The Oak and The King's Oak?
The Oak and the King's Oak share the same DNA — stainless steel construction, sapphire crystal, hidden clasp and 3 ATM water resistance. The King's Oak is larger at 42mm versus 41mm, has a wider 24mm bracelet versus 20mm, a bolder and more vibrant dial, and adds luminous hands for night readability. The Oak is for the man who prefers understated precision. The King's Oak is for the man who wants his watch to be seen.
How bright are the luminous hands at night?
The King's Oak features fully luminous hands and hour markers that charge in natural or artificial light and glow clearly in low light and complete darkness. The luminous material is applied to both the hands and indices, ensuring full readability in any lighting condition — from a dark restaurant to complete darkness.
Is the King's Oak automatic or quartz?
The King's Oak uses a high precision quartz movement — delivering absolute accuracy with zero maintenance required beyond a battery replacement every 1 to 3 years depending on usage.
Does the date update automatically?
Yes. The date updates automatically at midnight every day. At the end of months with fewer than 31 days, the date will need to be manually advanced — this is standard on all date watches regardless of price or movement type.
What is the water resistance?
The King's Oak is water resistant to 3 ATM (30 metres). It is protected against rain, splashes and light swimming. It is not designed for scuba diving or submersion at depth. We recommend removing the watch before showering to preserve the case seal over time.
What is the hidden button clasp?
The hidden button clasp is a concealed deployment buckle integrated into the bracelet. It opens with a discreet press of the buttons on the sides of the clasp, allowing the bracelet to open fully for easy on and off. When closed, the clasp is completely invisible — the bracelet looks seamless from every angle.
Does it come with a warranty?
Yes. Every Aldric Voss timepiece comes with a 12-month movement warranty covering manufacturing defects, plus a 30-day return window. If anything is wrong, we repair, replace or refund — no unnecessary delays.
How do I care for the King's Oak?
Wipe the case and bracelet with a soft dry cloth after wear. For a deeper clean, use a soft brush with mild soapy water on the bracelet links, rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Avoid contact with harsh chemicals and perfumes. The quartz battery will need replacing every 1–3 years — have this done by a qualified watchmaker to ensure the case seal is properly maintained.
